Put the MP3_Radio_HQ.gau in your main gauge folder.

Choose the directory that is correct on your system but the default directory is: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Fs9\gauges.

Pick 4 MP3's you would like to hear and copy them to your main sound folder.

Rename them "song0.mp3, song1.mp3, song2.mp3, song3.mp3".

If you have 'hide known extensions' turned on (default setting) in Tools/Folder Options/View then you just need to rename the songs you wish to use withOUT the .mp3 extension as it is already there, just hidden. If you have that setting turned OFF so that you SEE all file extensions, just make sure they are and remain .mp3.

To change songs just delete those 4 and copy and rename 4 more.

There you go. You have a "jammin system" in your aircraft now. To open it, click "Views" then "Instrument Panel" and then click on "Radio". The Radio looks like an old AM radio. Each button plays a different song. You can figure it out from there. You will hear the music mixed in with the sounds of the game. Kinda cool. All I ask in return is that each of you promise you will NEVER play "Danger Zone" on this radio. Once the radio is displayed, click the volume button to turn on and off, moving the mouse slightly off center will reveal - to the left to turn volume down and + to the right to increase volume.

**PLEASE NOTE**

This "Radio" requires a good bit of processor resources. It is not recommended that you use it in Multi-player. It can and probably will cause you to be "Zoned", i.e. disconnected from the game. Use it in Freeflight on those long flights around Europe or those long helicopter practice sessions.

Thanks to the maker of the MP3 gauge. I do not know who he is but he has made a lot of long Sim nights more fun. Thanks to www.wunderlin.net for allowing me to post this tutorial.

Legal:
The MP3 gauge is freeware. Do not sell it. Do not charge your friends to listen to it. Do not claim you programed it. Other than that do as you please with it.
